As Valentine’s Day approaches we are reminded we must be kind to each other and treat one another with respect. Part of that is taking care of everyone’s safety. At solutions for care, we are committed to addressing calls of concern regarding our older adults and people with disabilities within the communities we serve.

SFC is a designated APS agency, through the Illinois Department on Aging, that investigates Abuse, Neglect, Financial Exploitation, and Self-Neglect of individuals 18-59 with a documented disability and anyone 60 and over. Read More. 

One of the greatest joys I’ve experienced this past year is seeing the positive impact on the lives of older adults and those with disabilities.  This is possible only by the dedicated and committed staff at Solutions for Care.  I admire the creativity in the various ways our team safeguards and enhances the quality of life of those we so lovingly serve.  Despite challenges related to the pandemic, limited resources, and the constant, growing need for services by our aging community, our entire team remains dedicated to their wellbeing, day in, day out.  Jim Rohn is quoted as saying, “Focus on the solution, not on the problem.”  I am so proud of the name of our organization, “Solutions for Care” because that is what we bring to the table. Last month was National Family Caregivers Month. SFC honored our Caregivers with a celebration during our monthly Caregiver Support Group. We had a great turnout! All Caregivers that attended were given a Caregiver Gift bag to show our appreciation for them. We are very grateful for all their assistance!!! Read More.
