Happy New Year!

Message from our Executive Director – Richard Juarez Sr.

Happy New Year! 😊

One of the greatest joys I’ve experienced this past year is seeing the positive impact on the lives of older adults and those with disabilities.  This is possible only by the dedicated and committed staff at Solutions for Care.  I admire the creativity in the various ways our team safeguards and enhances the quality of life of those we so lovingly serve.  Despite challenges related to the pandemic, limited resources, and the constant, growing need for services by our aging community, our entire team remains dedicated to their wellbeing, day in, day out.  Jim Rohn is quoted as saying, “Focus on the solution, not on the problem.”  I am so proud of the name of our organization, “Solutions for Care” because that is what we bring to the table.

I wish each of you abundant and joyous moments this New Year as I look forward to the opportunity of meeting and knowing each of you.

This holiday season Solutions for Care received a donation of gifts for the children in our (GRG) Program.  The donation of gifts was made by Commissioner Frank J. Aguilar from the Cook County 16th District. Currently, in our program, we have 43 children from 14 GRG families.

We received approximately 30 gifts (toys) which allowed the grandparents to have something under the tree for their grandchildren. The grandparents are very grateful and appreciate the donation of gifts in this difficult time for all of us.
